how does reform outpace competitors?

At Reform, we’re not driven by rapid expansion and you won’t see us advertising our franchise model. That’s because, first and foremost, our product offering stands head and shoulders above anything else in the industry. Word of mouth, organic growth is more our style. Where most franchise systems rely on a cycle of constant sales, gimmicks, and promotions just to cover rent, Reform is built differently. Our product does the marketing for you - when the experience speaks for itself, the community follows. If you’ve ever been a client in one of our studios, you’ll know we don’t push sales-driven challenges or superficial tricks. We focus on what matters: delivering a consistently great workout, every time.

what is the cost outlay?

The total investment varies depending on factors such as the size and location of your studio, lease arrangements, and local market conditions. Key components of the outlay typically include:

  • Lease establishment, which can differ depending on the landlord’s structure and level of support

  • Equipment costs

  • A minimal fit-out

  • An upfront franchise fee, giving you access to our brand, systems, and ongoing support

Because each site is unique, outlay is best understood as a moving target influenced by square meterage, demographics, and lease negotiations. We’ll work closely with you through the site selection and set-up process to ensure the investment is clear, considered, and aligned with your goals.

what makes the reform brand

The Reform Brand is built on clear systems, consistent standards and a values-led approach
that guides every decision. While Reform has shown significant growth, our ethos has
remained the same and in the forefront of any growth patterns.

We partner with passionate, capable franchisees and while we support them with hands-on
training and ongoing guidance there is an expectation of accountability and motivation for
success. Our goal is to make our brand of Reformer Pilates and its benefits accessible to as
many people as possible, while encouraging independent success of all of our studios.

Our approach is focused on an owner/operator model which means studio owners are expected
to be present on the timetable and teach classes.

“Reform is deliberately and consciously different. We take the original slower, more classical pilates concept, and apply more aggressive techniques to carve out a genuine niche that people really love. You can be really encouraged by the evolution of the systems, policies and procedures. The set up, provision of equipment, sourcing of space, negotiating with landlords - Reform helps you with every aspect.”
